Listen to my podcast with Heather Currier, host of the Sourdough Mamas Podcast. We talk about all things sourdough bread!
I really need to do more podcasts. Writing about sourdough bread is one thing, but talking about it makes me feel so alive! I got the chance to chat with Heather Currier, host of the Sourdough Mamas Podcast about all things sourdough: my baking journey, sourdough discard recipes, personal tips and SO much more. Honestly, I could talk about bread all day. But for now, 40 minutes is the sweet spot ;) Go check it out {click on the video above}. I’m hoping it will inspire you.
Also, slightly off topic (but super important): Heather is an expert on high altitude sourdough baking. If this applies to you, and you’re done struggling with weird bread due to elevation issues, make sure to read this: How to Make High Altitude Sourdough Bread. You’ll also find an excellent collection of sourdough episodes on her podcast. How amazing is this community?! Enjoy everyone!

Your book set me on my sourdough journey and I now bake weekly for two markets and also do deliveries. My phone keeps telling me that I am almost out of memory because of all my starter, dough, and bread photos and people start nervously backing away during bread talk and when I start showing them these photos I sometimes see that the are struggling to politely excuse themselves. Ha! Okay so maybe that last was an exaggeration, but I love your cookbook. I have become a sourdough snob, sniffing dismissively at sourdough cookbooks and recipes that include commercial yeast. And I just found your sourdough banana bread here on your blog and we LOVED it!

Loved the podcast, had to buy both Your recipe book and Emily’s, of which I’ve had in my shopping basket online for some time..
Thank you so very much, I will use til’ I die 😄.
Will definitely try pasta as well.
Love being self sustainable and I’m excited about being about to use my stand mixer w/attachments. My wrist and basal thumb joints are in bad shape.
