It’s just seltzer.

I don’t normally dress up my bubbly water, but whatever it takes for me to drink water in the first place is what we’re going for here.

I’m like a cactus.

This is Cranberry Clementine seltzer garnished with blood orange and mint.

I’ve discovered a new collection of flavors; Ginger Apple, Blackberry Bergamot & Ruby Red Grapefruit. I think there was Coconut Crème too… all unsweetened.

Interesting, right?

It actually makes me want to hydrate.

For the past year, I’ve been working on the most ghetto, non-functioning laptop. Without an enter key. Without access to special characters. Every single post on this blog is made possible by a clunky external keyboard.

According to Apple, nothing can be fixed. My laptop is just old.

But I just listened to something very inspiring.

Do you know Matthew Hussey?

He’s new to me. A motivational speaker. With an accent. A charming accent that left me hanging on his every last word. I had the privilege of listening to him on the radio during an otherwise mundane trip to buy half & half. He could talk about dirt and I’d pay attention…

As far as I know, Matthew’s area of expertise focuses on love and matchmaking. However, he discussed several topics this morning.

The most compelling, was the topic of time.

Now let me preface: I’m not a Matthew Hussey groupie. Nor, am I here to lecture you on what to do with your time, how to control it, and blah blah blah. Because really, we’ve heard it all before.

Jake destroyed our tree. He threw a train at one of the branches and smashed my favorite ornament. To dust. My beloved bauble was a sentimental souvenir from our very first vacation (sans kids).
